About Gene Devine
I’m the founder of Devine Integrative Equine Therapy, a veteran-owned practice based in Calhan, Colorado, serving clients across the state and remotely. After retiring as an Army Intelligence Officer in 2007, I followed my passion for photography, specializing in equine commercial, fine art, and western lifestyle work. Spending so much time with horses — both in our family and professionally — sparked my curiosity about their health, behavior, and energy. Training as a barefoot hoof trimmer and learning from wild mustangs deepened my understanding of equine wellness and set me on a path toward holistic animal care.
Today, I combine hands-on bodywork with vibrational healing, using Animal Frequency Balancing™ and tuning forks as the heart of my practice. I complement this with massage, acupressure, craniosacral therapy, and bioenergy work to help horses and dogs release tension, move more freely, and find balance. I’m also proud to teach at the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage, sharing these therapies with others. Every day, I feel grateful to work with animals, blending technique, intention, and energy to support their well-being and create lasting, positive change.
About Becky Devine
I’m the co-founder of Devine Integrative Equine Therapy. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, growing up with dogs and having an intuitive sense of their needs. A personal loss while I was living in Germany deepened my commitment, leading me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (now with over 25 years of experience). Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the country’s top board-certified veterinary specialists in orthopedics, anesthesiology, internal medicine, and emergency care. As I honed my clinical skills, I discovered a passion for teaching, sharing my knowledge with aspiring veterinary professionals for over 15 years, and earning Teacher of the Year at the East Valley Institute of Technology.
My journey took a transformative turn when I met my soul horse, Adara, who introduced me to spiritual and energetic approaches to wellness. Since then, I’ve pursued extensive training in equine and animal bodywork, including therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, rehabilitation, bioenergy work, energy therapy, and acupressure. I’m also certified in Equine Structural Integration. By combining clinical expertise, holistic modalities, and a deep respect for the bond between humans and animals, I help horses and dogs move, heal, and thrive while fostering meaningful connections with their caregivers.
